Introduction

This privacy notice applies to Voltage Anticheat ("Voltage", "VoltageAC", "us", "we", "our"), a service operated by Voltage and available in the Netherlands and the European Union. This notice explains how and why we collect, store, use, and protect personal information when you use our services ("Services").

What information do we process?

As of now, Voltage Anticheat only processes the following personal data:

  • IP Address: Used for maintaining the operation and security of our services.
  • Hardware Identifier (HWID): Used to prevent malicious actions such as tampering with our software.

No user accounts can be created on our website, and purchasing the software is not available yet.

Why do we process your data?

We process your IP address and HWID for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the proper functioning of our services.
  • To protect the software and prevent unauthorized or malicious use, including tampering (more details available in our Terms of Service).

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data based on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR):

  • Maintaining and securing our service.
  • Protecting our software from abuse or tampering.

How long do we keep your data?

We retain IP addresses and HWIDs only as long as necessary to operate and secure our services. Data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for these purposes.

Sharing of data

We do not share your personal data with third parties, unless required by law or in response to lawful requests from government authorities.

International transfers

Your data is stored and processed within the European Union. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Access: You can request access to your personal data.
  • Rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: You can request deletion of your data (subject to limitations for security and legal compliance).
  • Restriction: You can request restriction of processing.
  • Objection: You can object to our processing of your data.
  • Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
